Charles checking out Gators

Plant tight end Orson Charles, who has received a plethora of scholarship offers since transferring from Riverview, will make an unofficial visit to Florida next weekend, Charles told the Times.

Charles has yet to receive an offer from the Gators but it might be just a matter of time before he gets one.

Charles will make the visit with teammate Aaron Murray, Plant's record-setting quarterback who already has an offer from the Gators.

Charles landed an offer from USF this week. He also has offers from Florida State, Iowa, Auburn, UCF and Arkansas.
