Toledo suffers first loss as a Gator

Alonso grad Tommy Toledo no longer is perfect. Now a freshman pitcher for the Florida Gators, Toledo suffered the first loss of his college career Sunday in a 6-3 defeat at home to LSU. He had won his first four starts in a Gator uniform. Six days ago, Toledo (4-1) was named Southeastern Conference freshman of the week. On Sunday, he allowed four earned runs in 5 and 1/3 innings. Despite the loss, the standout right-hander still has a 2.70 ERA.
