Armwood's Smith headed to Under-Armour All-American Game

Armwood linebacker Petey Smith has been invited to play in next year’s Under Armour All-Under_armourhs_80 American Game, according to the game's website. He will join teammate Ryne Giddens, a defensive lineman for the Hawks.

The showcase game, which features some of the top high school seniors in the nation, will be played Jan. 4, 2009 in Orlando at Disney's Wide World of Sports. It will be broadcast live on ESPN. Along with the US Army All-American Game in San Antonio, they are the country’s top two high school all-star games. The Under Armour game debuted in January.  Selections are made by experts from Scouts Inc.

Smith was a Times All-Suncoast first-team selection last season. Despite missing five games, he made 80 tackles for the Hawks.

Armwood is a bunch of cheaters, period.

3:22, Petey Smith had nothing to do with Armwood beating Plant. It was Ryne Giddens and Freedom transfer Matt Patchan.

Stop the obsession with Aaron Murray, this is an article about Smith. Just be happy for him. Murray and Smith are both great players with wonderful things happening for both of them. I was planning on just congratulating Smith before I read your comment; something I guess you would never think to do for Murray.

Aaron Murray will be getting a good view of this guy while he's lying on his back. Oh wait, that already happened twice last year.

Armwood 47
Dunedin 6 (I'll give Bellamy a TD)

we got kids at phu that would run them off the field next year at dunedin we got real horses on offensive and defensive look for a state championship

Best LB since Ray Lewis!

This Kid is for real, best linebacker I have seen in a long time. He has a motor that is unmatched! COngrats can not wait to see him unleashed upon the rest of the nation.
