Clemson offers Giles

Heralded Gaither tailback Jarvis Giles has picked up a scholarship offer from Clemson, Gaither coach Mark Kantor said Thursday. That's his 15th offer. Troy and North Carolina offered him earlier this week, following such programs as Florida, Florida and Tennessee. The 5-foot-11, 178-pound running back is rated as the 153rd best prospect in the Class of 2009 by Rivals.com. He has produced back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons.
