Joyer to announce decision June 21

In continuing the trend of early commitments, Wesley Chapel lineman Kamran Joyer will announce his college choice June 21 at a party to celebrate his decision. Tennessee remains the No. 1 choice for the junior, but Joyer will visit South Carolina and Georgia during the second week of June. Florida and USF are also on his list of schools.

Onca again have any of these schools offered him? I mean this paper loves telling how many offers a kid has, such as Aaron MUrray has 1 Million offers but never have a offer been made.

As I've said before and reported long ago Joyer has offers from Tennessee and South Carolina. If you click on the county links along the left side of this page you can view every post since the blog began.

He's announcing early because everyone is withdrawing their offers. Better do it quick.

I heard Tennessee pulled their offer and South Carolina has never heard of him, how is possible? That seems a little out of place, maybe he is going to pullo one of those stunts like the kid in NV. who chose to play at Cal and no one ever had heard of him.

He is getting his rankings from Rivals next month and he will be ranked as a four star player. He just finished a combine in Gainesville. He is ranked 4th best lineman in the state by Flvarsity. I have been to his house and seen the boxes of letters he has received from the top football programs all over the country and I have seen the actual framed offers from Tennessee and South Carolina in their living room. Just because you have not heard of him does not mean he isn't good. Instead of expending energy being negative you "Guys N the Stands" need to be happy that one of our local boys has made good. If one of us succeeds...we all succeed. Please, if you are going to write in about people make sure you do your research. This kid was chosen All State this year. There will be over 60 division one schools visiting him during spring practice next month. If you guys have been following this kid closely he is being touted as the most heavily recruited athlete in the history of Wesley Chapel and one of the top recruits of the 2009 class in Tampa and the state of Florida. Give the kid a break...he has worked really hard for this recognition and is finally seeing the fruits of his hard work and labor.
Urban Meyer actually came to our school to talk to the coach about him and that has never happened at our school before. The kid must have something going for him.
