Kazanski likely to play DIII

942_logoBerkeley Prep guard/forward Zak Kazanski, the only member of a strong Buccaneers squad to earn all-state honors, likely will play at the Division III level, Berkeley coach Bobby Reinhart said Wednesday. Kazanski, an honor student who hopes to study engineering, is looking at the following schools: Case Western, Rochester, RPI and Washington University in St. Louis -- all academic heavyweights. The one that lands the Class 3A honorable mention pick who averaged 12.5 points, 3.7 assists and 3.6 boards will be getting a steal, Reinhart said. "Any of those four would love to have him," the coach commented.
