Dziagwa headed to Ave Maria University

Former Tampa Catholic basketball standout Matt Dziagwa is transferring from North Carolina Wesleyan to Ave Maria University, which is located in Naples. At TC, Dziagwa, who is the son of Crusaders coach Don Dziagwa, was a four-year letterwinner and three-year starter as a point guard. He scored 1,175 career points. Matt Dziagwa played one season at North Carolina Wesleyan. Ave Maria will be a first-year program that competes at the NAIA level.
