McNary scratched from state meet
Palm Harbor University's Madison McNary, the defending state champion in the 100 and 200 meters, pulled out of her two signature events after straining her hamstring.
The injury happened on her second attempt in the long jump. She tried one more jump, then skipped the rest of her attempts. Hurricanes coach Rob Jenkins decided to hold her out the rest of the meet rather than risk further injury.
"(Madison) has a long career ahead her and we didn't want to take any chances," Jenkins said.

It will be interesting to see how she does or does not do in college.....

If it's anything like her attitude in high school....it'll be a short career.

Exactly........college coaches don't need to put up with that kind of crap....there are plenty of fish in the sea....but then again....sometimes people grow up and do very well away from home.

I don't see it happening. She seemed very immature and quick to blame her teammates.......just like her sister...........

You guys are abosultely correct that is why her sister goes to Howard university on a scholarship and Madison is going to Uof Florida on a scholarship selfishness and immaturity Give me a break I don't what 2 girls u have been looking @ but it is not the McNary girls

Madison and Lauren are unbelievable athletes and girls. I have competed against them for years in basketball and track. Madison may have an attitude at times, but she has a great deal of compassion for the sports she plays. She works harder than anyone I know and is amazing at track. She deserves to be running at Florida (GO Gators!) next year. I know she will do great, just like Lauren did.

Actually she should do very well at UF, that is a tough track team to be on, but she is just the kind of sprinter they like. Arrogant and cocky. And I am sure she will do well in school too.....
