Updated Scout.com top 300
Rivals.com isn't the only recruiting service that likes our local football talent. Several area products found their way onto the Scout.com Scout 300, a list of the top players in the Class of 2009. They are:

No. 166, Petey Smith, Armwood, LB

Not only is Aaron Murray ranked #31, he is the only 5 star in the state!

Aaron Murray WAS No. 81 when I saw the list last week. After I posted it, Scout.com re-sorted its players later that day and Murray moved up. At the time I posted the blog, my information was correct. I've since changed the posting (see above) to reflect the updated rankings. Sorry for any confusion.
