Signed Alonso seniors to be honored

940_logoFour Alonso seniors who have signed to play football in college will be among the seniors honored before the Ravens' spring  jamboree game tonight.

Wide receivers R.T. Strain and Eric Brown have signed to attend Division II St. Joseph's in Indiana. Defensive back Skip Pryce will attend Yuba College, a community college in California, and  quarterback Geno Quintana will attend Missouri Valley College, a NAIA school in Marshall, Mo.

Strain led the Ravens with 19 receptions for 237 yards while Brown added 14 catches, second on the team, for 144 yards. Pryce totaled 17 tackles and Quintana threw for 696 yards with four touchdowns.

Defensive lineman Jamal Crook (Murray State), receiver Joe Clarke (Miami of Ohio) and defensive back Dion Price (South Dakota) signed in February.

Alonso hosts Sickles tonight after Jesuit and Leto play at 6:30.
