Who's No. 1 in Florida? Ratings system says Armwood

Calpreps_2Calpreps.com, a website that covers high school football, has compiled an interesting ratings system to determine which program in Florida has been the most productive during the past five years. Armwood, which is 65-6 during that stretch, got the nod for the top spot over Lakeland (61-6). Among area teams, Hillsborough was next (14th), followed by Jefferson (24th). You can find the complete rankings HERE.

Check it out and tell me what think ...

better than Lakeland? I think not. Plus this information came from California? Go figure. Niebuhr, how familiar are you with the source of this information?

more wins, fewer losses, it's not rocket science. If you dispute that you must have taken from Lakeland AP Math.

That is just to funny. Armwood the F rated school that has Calvin Bailey flunk out of college because he cant read, calling another school dumb.

The school that has kids not showing up for class so they can go out to breakfast calling other schools dumb.

THat is just to funny for words.

Invalid- Yea right! Armwood would chew Lakeland up and spit them out! Score would be something like 32-7. Good for you they aren't playing each other. Lakeland might not even be good enough to make the playoffs this year.

In truth, I'm not very familiar with it. Someone passed it along to me, and I thought readers might find it interesting. Like any ratings systems, I'm sure this one has its flaws. I'm still looking at it as we speak, but so far I don't have any beef with what I've seen

ok HC football, thats a lil stretch
the thing i want to say is
cali football has nothing on floriball

they only have 2 florida teams in their national top 10
that proves they know nothing on floriball

WHO is on the top of pinellas county?

Of course they are number 1, the only school that cheats more than Armwood is Plant!

Largo for Pinellas County @80
and Countryside @ 105. The coaches need to schdl better competition to move up, but then again its Pinellas!
The big question, these 2 teams only play in playoffs, WHY?

Dunedin should be higher...HATERS!

Dunedin should be higher...HATERS!

They also ranked Seminole over Northeast this place deffinatly doesnt know what they are talking about

I think they are ranking their performance over 5 years, not who is best this year.

They call it "DYNASTY" not one year cinderella teams. Who was the best for the long haul.
