Dun Dun does less with more talent every year. Bellamy does not yet have a 2.0 for the fall. If he does not play they are screwed.
Posted by: | July 05, 2008 at 02:35 AM
Dunedin should be the best team in pinellas this year. If they do not go 9-1 or so that is a shame. They will have the two best rb's in county this year.

More students = more alum = more fans = more people that want to see their team.
Smaller amount of students = less alum = less fans = less amount of people that want to see their team.
Catch 47 is looking for ratings like every other station. They wont get any ratings if they show a teams that went 5-5 in 1A or 7-2 in 2A that have 500 fans. They will get ratings for 10-0 5A and 9-1 6A teams with 9,000 fans.

why does it matter how many people are in your school jack. you can only have 11 at one time out there.
Posted by: | June 29, 2008 at 07:23 PM
OBVIOULSY THERE ISN'T ENOUGH PEOPLE THAT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR TEAM
SORRY
Posted by: | June 28, 2008 at 10:24 PM
Why only four 'blahs'?
Is that the number of players your schools have produced to play in the NFL, or atleast div 1A foobtall?
All I was trying to say was why should schools with 400 students, and 500 fans be on TV over schools with 2,000 students and 5,000 fans? It makes no sense at all.
Sorry for tryin' to be nice, and say the truth at the same time.

I want to know the basketball schedule also.....

Indian Rocks will be blown out by FM! One decent season (in a weak district) doesn't make you prime time. FM by 2 TDs.
Posted by: | June 28, 2008 at 05:52 AM
jack blah blah blah blah
Posted by: | June 27, 2008 at 11:17 PM
If you guys really want to be on TV, then try playing teams like Armwood and Plant.
Not Admiral Farragaut and other private schools.
If you want big time, then go big time.

31-7 loss to CCC in the spring game is all you have to know about Clearwater. The only score was running back the opening kickoff for a touchdown. When you cant leverage off of that you are a terrible team and a worse head coach. Clearwater will cintinue to be an embarassment until Bostick retires or more likely dies as the head coach.

who ever is posting about clearwater in these blogs needs to be completely banned. CCC completely embarrassed them. Lets see them actually field a respectable team first.

how about indian rocks and fort meade? will be a great game to watch
Posted by: | June 26, 2008 at 07:20 PM

Hey 12:53
Bogie's big year was last year. They have no hope this year. They got demolished by a sub-par team in their spring game. Now we will see if ol' Stevie can coach. He inherited a pretty talented bunch of kids from Gordon. We saw what Thomas could do when the big game had to be won. (Lost to NE and lost to Jefferson and barely beat Southeast Bradenton).
Bogie will finish 4th/5th in their district.

i WANNA KNOW THE BASKETBALL GAMES ON CATCH 47.
Posted by: | June 25, 2008 at 10:50 PM
Wow DUSTY PETERSON are you on the "DOOR OF DISGRACE?"
Posted by: | June 25, 2008 at 12:47 PM
What is this, how can you not show a Northeast game? Here's why he will brag about putting 7 or 8 in college but yet can't win the district. Sounds like alot of talent with no coaching. I would put a picture of yourself on your D.O.D. (DOOR OF DISGRACE)!!!!!!!

CT got something
for everybody
dont you worry

Gibbs High is going to be the best team in Pinellas Co,probably top 5 in the area this year. Mark it down. They are so much better and finally have a QB and athletes for days.
Posted by: | June 24, 2008 at 07:37 PM
Aug. 29 - Robinson at St. Petersburg
Not too bad for a preseason game, not bad at all.
Sept. 5 - Armwood at Plant
Game of the year, let's just hope it's not a blow out again.
Sept. 11 - Countryside at Gibbs
Football shouldn't be played on this day.
Sept. 12 - Springstead at Nature Coast
Woah, goin' up North. Let's see what the North has to bring this year.
Sept. 18 - East Lake at Tarpon Springs
Always a pretty good matchup, shouldn't disapoint.
Sept. 19 - Manatee at Southeast
Some power-houses down there. Why don't you guys put some Manatee County schools in your top 50?
Sept. 26 - Gaither at Jefferson
Good ol' game in Tampa. Cowboys n' Dragons.
Oct. 3 - Largo at Dunedin
Looking forward to see if the Packers can rebound after last year's playoff push.
Oct. 10 - Lakeland at Lake Gibson
Will have talent comming out of the waazoo!
Oct. 16 - Hillsborough at Plant
Another great matchup. Two dynastys in Tampa doin' battle.
Oct. 17 - St. Petersburg Catholic at Clearwater Central Catholic
Not a big fan of private school games. With respect, not as much talent, not as much nice plays, not as big of crowds...But those players have some heart.
Oct. 24 - Chamberlain at Alonso
Gotta love CHS' QB, too bad I can never remember his name.
Oct. 31 - Wharton at Riverview
Didn't Riverview get a new coach? Or is that the other Riverview?
Nov. 7 - Pasco County game TBA
Wire Grass and Sun Lake! GAME OF THE YEAR!
Nov. 13 - Jesuit at Tampa Catholic, 6:30 p.m.
Read Oct 17
Nov. 14 - Lakeland at Lakeland Kathleen
WHAT! We can't see that jumbotron!?
Looks like a GREAT season is comming up for Catch 47. Is it me or are they showing more games this year? And in diffrent areas too?
I would have liked to see some more rivalry games. That's one thing, out of ALOT, that makes HS ball so great.
What's is next Catch 47? Games in HD?
Hahaha

The Dunedin Largo game will be the best game in Pinellas County. Thank you Catch 47 for this matchup; For it has been the two best teams in the county for the last 4 or 5 years and it has become a big time rivalry.
Posted by: Football fan | June 24, 2008 at 05:41 PM
ct is in the trash where they belong
Posted by: | June 24, 2008 at 05:30 PM
ct where are you? donde esta clearwater tornadoes?
Posted by: cardin | June 24, 2008 at 03:54 PM
Confused:
Bogie had a horrible showing in the Playoffs which did not help their cause.
Plus they do not have that real intriguing match up to beat out most of the one's that were picked. Some of those I question like Chamberling and Alonso and Wharton and Riverview but I dont see any real big games for Bogie to put them on the schedule.
1:51:
Actually Lakeland is on there twice. It does not surprise me that Plant has 2 games because Plant and Armwood is a MUST SEE and Plant Hillsborough is the oldest rivalry pretty much in the bay area.
Posted by: ETC | June 24, 2008 at 03:01 PM
Lakeland once
Manatee once
Armwood once
Hillsborough once
Chamberlain once
Middleton zero
But Plant twice, does this surprise anyone?
Posted by: | June 24, 2008 at 01:51 PM
Why isn't District Champs Boca Ciega in this line up? Do they have to prove themselves every year in order to get recognition?
