First offer comes for Armwood RB
The wait is over for Armwood tailback Sir Chauncey Holloway. At long last, he has received his first scholarship offer. It came from Division I-AA Liberty on Friday.
"I'm real excited," Holloway said. "They really like me."
The 5-foot-8, 195-pound Holloway rushed for 972 yards last fall. He was a two-year starter at Plant City before transferring to Armwood this spring.
Well-known recruiting analyst Jamie Newberg of Rivals.com recently called Holloway one of the country's best players at his position. FAU, FIU, Troy and Wake Forest also have shown interest.
