Marry gets offers

College recruiters are flocking to Largo linebacker Mike Marry. The rising senior has more than 20 offers, including every SEC school except for Florida and LSU. The biggest came this week when Michigan offered. Wolverines assistant Greg Frey, a former Clearwater standout, recruits the area. Largo coach Rick Rodriguez was an assistant at Clearwater when Frey played.

Other Pinellas players getting big-time offers include Dixie Hollins utlity player Josh Brown (Louisville, Troy, Indiana, Iowa), Clearwater Central Catholic receiver Paul Freedman (Virginia, Duke, Ole Miss, Indiana), Northeast running back Juarez Wynn (Boston College, Indiana, Louisville) and Boca Ciega defensive end Julius Forte (Iowa).

make largo proud Mike.
keep up the good work
good grades, attitude etc.
show those people that say largo is trash what we are really about.

how come the same schools get there kids scholarships every year & a bunch of schools dont ever help thier kids go anywhere?

the same schools get kids scholarships ever year because they are were the talent is largo draws the football athletes clearwater and lakewood draw the b ball boys dunedin has baseball it is not about the schools athletes draw other athletes if you are talented you want to be around other talented indidiviuals who are just as talented and have the same goals and dreams in hillsborough that is why plant and armwood are so good if pine county ever signed up to this mentality (all of the athletes of 1 sport going to the same school in football) the draught would be over. Congratulations Mike for being on the doorstep of your dream you have worked very hard to get to wear you are out continue to kill the books and stuff anything in a opposing jersey that comes accross the line of scrimmage we are all proud of you
