Earl Garcia III joins dad on Hillsborough staff
Former King head coach Earl Garcia III has joined his father's football coaching staff at Hillsborough.
Garcia, who resigned at King in February after just one season, is coaching outside linebackers and is the special teams co-coordinator with former Hillsborough standout and Notre Dame player Preston Jackson under head coach Earl Garcia Jr.
"They were teammates here and they've been friends a long time," Earl Garcia Jr. said. "It's always good to have to chance to coach your son and now coach with your son. It's fun."
Earl Garcia III, a 1999 graduate of Hillsborough, was an all-county tight end and played linebacker and went on to play at Southern Illinois.
When Garcia left King this spring, he said he wanted to resume to coaching. He is also teaching at Spoto.
"He played at Hillsborough, he graduated from Hillsborough, and I think Hillsborough always been in his heart," Earl Garcia Jr. said.

Billions for education and only my post contains no spelling or grammatical errors. I guess these six were left behind (3:22's post was almost 100% correct).

So you're telling me that just because the King administration did Garcia wrong the kids should leave? That's weak. The kids need to stay out of grown folks business. The kids don't need to worry about that and just go to the school that they're supposed to go to and play for their school. It's as simple as that.

Why don't you alk about the lack loyalty given to Garcia by the King Administration. You think the kids don't see it and shouldn't respond to it?

Hey 11:20, that away to stay loyal to your school and teammates.
That's the thing with high schoolers today, NO LOYALTY.

Coach G was one of the best coaches I ever had. He got more passion for the game than 90% of the other coaches. When he left King so did 6 players. including me

Head Sanford Says: "Ya big dummy, he had 14 offers to coach around the county and coached at Leto for the Spring. His defense at King set a state record for improvement in 1 year."
How do I know? I played for him....

Hey Nepo,
Who you work for is more important than who offers you a job. He had plenty of offers from schools. You are just one of those ignorent, non-athletic, never coached, wan-a-bes!

Seems strange that if he is that good of a coach no one but his father would hire him.
