Pinellas preseason notes

Here are some things to keep an eye on in Friday's preseason games.

* Countryside's offensive line is inexperienced (one returning starter) and is battling injuries. That's not good considering the Cougars are facing Alonso and defensive lineman Demonte McAllister, a four-star recruit who has committed to FSU.

* Keswick Christian running back/linebacker Jacobi Wheeler returns to play his former schhol when the Crusaders face St. Petersburg Catholic. Wheeler transferred from SPC to Keswick this summer.

* Because of paperwork problems, Pinellas Park is dressing roughly 20 players for its game against Bradenton Manatee.

* Several schools have to decide on quarterbacks. The biggest battles are at Boca Ciega, Clearwater Central Catholic, East Lake, Lakewood and Northeast.

Any other thoughts come to mind?

Did Carden steal the paperwork? PEE- PARK

Ppark is playin with 20 players and manatee probably has 90.. hahah good luck you gonna need it... lol

Csides O line might be inexpierenced but they have some big boys that will be great in the future. T Pierson, sophmore 6-4 & 225lbs, T Moore sophmore 6-5 & 250lbs..the kid can already bench 300lbs. Rebuilding year this year but 09 & 10 they will dominate!!

the coach should have a fund setup to pay for players who couldnot afford K12insurance. $70 this year!

but thats okay..Pinellas Park will bounce back! Keep your heads up!

D Roberts will run all over Alonso's Defense...120+yards rushing atleast 2tds....just like last years game vs Alonso as a JR!!!...FSU..whatever!

CSIDE!!!!!!!!

PAPERWORK...COME ON...arrest paperwork,school paperwork????
what is he talking about

20PLAYERS...lol

chris ramsey, chris molina..year before that tom seaver

How can you not explain the paperwork problem more? If it was paperwork then they shouldn't have been practicing anyway.

Will P Park have enough players for a JV squad?

Bob: Only dressing 20 players because of "paperwork" problems, the day of the first game? Me thinks a true reporter would ferret that one out.

who was last years D-1 olineman?

The O-Line is ready ,OL joe crews will handle Demonte McAllister

Every year the Cougars produce D1 OL>this year is crews wears those shoes!

GO COUGARS!
