College games now have meaning to Lamar

Lindsey Lamar used to be a casual observer of college football. But now, he's getting into it.

Lindsey_2"I'm watching games a lot more closely," Lamar said.

Call it research.

Lamar, a senior running back at Hillsborough, is being recruited by several Division I-A programs, many of whom play regularly on TV.

"I look for how the running backs do, how much they run and what kind of offense they have," said Lamar, who has scholarship offers from programs such as Michigan, USF and Wake Forest. "I'm looking for things I wasn't looking for (in the past)."

He's a track guy, won't make it through one week of a college football practice. Doesn't like to get hit (like what's coming tomorrow night!). Quick! Hurt your ankle because you want no part of what is comin Friday!

8:44 ...
For what it's worth, he says he's definitely giving USF a good look

Linsey would make a great hometown Bull!
