Dunedin's Singer to start at quarterback

The long-running saga of who will be Dunedin's starting quarterback is over.

Falcons coach Mark Everett said junior Ryan Singer, a transfer from Countryside, will start when the Falcons host Boca Ciega in Friday's season opener.

Singer has been battling Blair Jordan for the starting spot since practices began four weeks ago. Everett said the two were close in competition and did not want to name a starter until after the preseason. Singer emerged as the front-runner after throwing for 101 yards and two touchdowns in last week's win over Central.

"It was a tough choice," Everett said. "Both are great kids. Ryan performed really well last week."

Jordan will be the backup and will see time as a receiver and on special teams.

I wish we still had singer! I knew he was the best we had!

wish singer was still here!!!! i know personally that if singer was at
c-side right now he would be starting!

his own backs don't say crap - they are tight - you makin up trash - garbage - dunedin is family

singer wants to play football - what is wrong with that?

Win the game Singer and I will give you all the hype everyday allday!

LOL - fools - Singer has a D1 arm. Fools

WHY DID HE LEAVE CSIDE?
NO ANSWER FOR THAT....

YEAH WE WILL SEE YOU FRIDAY...
Singer is not the problem,
Bellamy and Howard, thats the real weapons...singer throws 5-10yards dump passes then his backs takes it to the house...His own backs say he gets to much credit, if Dun Dun handle business, All the glory will goto Singer and how he switch schools and beat Donut...! but in the end, he is alot of hype and no D1 QB!

hahahahaha see you then

Jimbo don't need that trash? You think Singer needs the trash he has been getting?

What comes around goes around. See you Friday night.

they need to start daily anyways

he doesn't need that trash

jimbo's blog got shut down - lol

the guy that always calls people garbage is the real "garbage" on these blogs

Exactly!! It's early and it just doesn't matter right now!!! Thank You!!
Just play the game right?!!!

The best quarterback is the one who has 1)The highest completion percentage (obviously im not talking about those that throw the ball once or twice a game) and 2)The avg yards per throw. If a quarterback has these two stats than either he is pretty good or his receivers/team are D1 and dominate(like how aaron murray is amazing, except he cant beat armwood)

Dunedin hardly threw the ball you idiots and he still has as many TDs as those that have thrown up to 43 times a game. IF EVERYONE KEEPs TRYING TO THROW 30 ATTEMPTS a GAME THEY MIGHT GET A TD! HAHA It's quality not quantity of throws idiot!! He only attempted 10 passes last friday and only needed 5 completions for 3 TDs!!! and no this isn't his dad!
I would love to see him throw 30 plus attempts a game!

its only the 2nd week.....these kids are only juniors......why are you taking it so serious? LD crow didnt win state and didnt throw for 300 yds a game and is at a d1 school. you dont know what you are talking about. its about TD's, wins, and how you perform at camps. you are taking this thing way to serious

personally all those numbers are garbage, D1 HS QB put 250 to 400 yards a game against HS competetion...

the only true D1 QB graduated last year from Clearwater and that dude was no doubt on the weakest football team in the county and he still consistently threw up 300yards passing games. Thats D1

the other senario>win STATE!
or rush and pass for over a hundred a game... these boys are jsut that boys, except for the top3,they actually still have a chance to develop that untap potental

don't be a hater now...tsk tsk

such haters

its only the 2nd week jackass

looks like Singer or Epps are on the list...

last time i checked dunedin is 2-0 and singer has 4 total touchdowns. doesnt seem bad to me. dundun and largo are the best 2 teams in the vounty and we'll see how the 1-2 will work when they play in 2 weeks. stop hating on my boy singer, who is the county's BEST qb.

yeah - get real mad cside, cuz confucious say "those who get mad lose"

dunedin isnt even sweating cside, we are focused on largo. cside is just another stepping stone. a small small small stepping stone. go tell all your buddies at school bout that

how do u know singer made the comments? i could make comments that sound like their coming from cside just to start stuff. i doubt he even reads this stuff. no one is talking about it at dunedins practice. we are not getting all pumped up because of what peoples dads are talking about lol...yall are dumb. we are actually focusing on football at our practices. yall wont win. put a target on singers back..cause we got targets on yalls soft @sses. lol yall weak

ryan singer? haha I used to know that kid, what a creeper!

he should stay off the blogs!
or shall i say your mr singer stop blogging about how great your second rated QB son, D1 he is not!

Rumors flying around Cside about Singers recent comments to CSide Defense, the game should be real interesting!

yes I love my own urine. i drink it before games.

have you ever drank your own urine 256?

Hey if you are happy with a guy who had your school as his second pick and only came because he was afraid of the competion at Cside becuase he knew he was not as good. You can have our thrid string lefotovers anytime. See you in two weeks. Love CSide.

this is funny stuff - lol
Just keep puttin' up those WINs Ryan

chrome! boonesboro! wildneress road! galaraga! big fat pelican! you dog! you scaliwag!

necessary? is it necessary to drink my own urine? no, but its sterile and I like the taste

im craving a carmel cappacino...i know you are toOoOoO

i know your not saying eppes is worse then jimbo and daily

wow countryisde is so pissed they lossed the two QBs that could beat out jimbo . countryisde goodluck trying to beat out eastlake for second in district.

haha people are so mean, i love it

jimbo...youre such a hater lol

his father blogs all the time and knows a times writer....
go figure!

i agree pm>Garbage over hypt!
his backs and uncovered recvr should have gotten that award.
He should feel like crap for taken the award!

he got offensive player because the reporters dont see the game. his first td: throw it up and hope my reciever comes down with it.
td # 2: receiver left uncovered 5 yard throw to him and he runs 80 yards.
td #3: 5 yard screen pass to bellemy who takes it home.
how about how he had negative rushing yards and a fumble? hes garbage

I see Singer got Offensive Player of the Week in the Sunday Times. Well there ya' go.

why do you hate this kid so bad?

Dun Dun is very one dimensional. If you load the box you can shut down thier running attack. Their O-line is not good enough to blow people off the line when they stack the box. Singer has not proven to anyone that he can beat you with his arm in that offense. I think it will be a very close game between the two teams. It will come down to if Dun Dun can get less one dimensional.

so what did you see?

so what did you see 732?

so what did you see last night TOO THE DUMBA** FALCON FAN?

C-side always talks the smack, then comes with the excuses when they lose. We'll see how you do in your first test Thrs night. Both QB's are no threat so only weapon is RB, pretty weak?? Go Falcons.

BY THE WAY THE COUGARS D HELD MIGHTY GIBBS RUNNING ATTACH TO -7 YRDS, 48TOTAL YARDS FORM SCRIM.
not to mention only giving up 6pts in 2games..the only points from GIBBS came from interception return for TD,and punt return for TD....

SO NOW WHAT, wait til they win 3 in a row or 4 after they RIP THE FALCONS.

the falcons will have no answer for DROB or the COUGARS DEFENSE....

we will see the mighty Falcons tinite!
oops gametime,gotta go
