Hawks rise in USA Today rankings
The Armwood football team's solid play is paying off. In this week's USA Today Super 25, the Hawks (4-0) jumped up a spot to No. 5. They did so partly because Long Beach (Calif.) Poly, which was fourth last week, dropped two places after what was described as an unimpressive win. Only one Florida team is higher in the poll -- No. 4 Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas. Armwood is fourth in the paper's South Region Rankings, which can be found HERE. The Hawks play Jefferson this week.
