Irish eyes on McGriff
Notre Dame is the latest major program to get involved in the recruitment of Jesuit receiver/safety Erick McGriff. The 6-foot-3, 195-pound senior spoke to the Irish via telephone earlier this week and was told the program intends to send a coach to Tampa to check him out.
"They're going to try to come down," McGriff said. "I was excited. That's a big school with a lot of tradition. There's a lot behind that name."
Currently, McGriff has scholarship offers from programs such as Arkansas, Auburn, Cincinnati and Kansas. Like Notre Dame, Florida State and Georgia also showing interest. McGriff is in the process of trying to determine which schools he'd like to make official visits to.

you really think he's overrated? Look at what he did against chambo...3 receiving td's , an interception, then like a 60 yard kick off return...
