Mitchell garners first offer

953_logoHillsborough junior Terrence Mitchell received his first scholarship offer -- from Duke.

The 5-foot-11, 155-pound Mitchell, who plays both ways as a wide receiver and free safety for the Terriers, is also an exceptional track athlete.

"This is just the first of many," Hillsborough coach Earl Garcia said. "Everybody is looking at him."

The Terriers open the season Friday night at Jefferson.
