Plant, Berkeley Prep rise in volleyball rankings

Thanks to solid starts, the volleyball teams at Plant and Berekley Prep each moved up in this week's Prepvolleyball.com Top 100 national rankings, which were just released. Plant (3-0), the defending Class 5A state champ, jumped one spot to No. 4; Berkeley Prep (10-0), which won a very good tournament in Gainesville last weekend and then topped Tampa Prep on Tuesday, is up 17 places to No. 42. Plant is the highest-ranked Florida team on the list; Berkeley Prep is next.

The two teams could meet at next week's Berkeley Premier.

Plant did not recruit berkleys star player, she didn't want to go to berkley anymore..surprise surprise a kid doesn't want to stay there..if you want to talk recruiting just look what dagostino did this year. End of story.

The Bucs are doing very well with such a young team, especially after Plant recruited one of the Bucs star players away. It should make for a good match-up.
