TC's Green hurt
In Tampa Catholic's 20-10 loss to Ocala Trinity Catholic, TC quarterback Christian Green twisted his ankle in the first half and didn't play after halftime. Doug Williams Jr. was under center in the second half. The coaches are unsure how severely Green is injured. The Crusaders led 10-3 before Green went out of the game.

Looks like they will start out 0-2. Gave up 20 unanswered points in the 2nd half. Sounds like one of the coaches knows how to make adjustments. Only one.

28 yards rushing on 25 carries. Wow. That is the definition of overrated. You wont beat antbody if you cant run the ball better than that.

Guys, your in 2A football, give me a break. There's JV teams at 4A that will kick the snot out of you. WHO CARES!

What is Green's injury status?
Posted by: | September 06, 2008 at 09:29 AM
Green is their team. No Green lucky to win. Hopefully Green is not injured seriously and can return soon. He is a D-1 player.

OVERRATED OVERRATED

Hey Jeff R Son,
I guess since there is 4A JV Teams that will be able to kick the snot out of 2A TC. That means there is 6A JV Teams that will kick the snot out of your 4A Team. So who cares about 4A. I guess according to you we all better watch 6A football. Man, you are an idiot.

Hey Rick, Proof is we can play and win against bigger schools. You girls get spanked by 3A jesuit every year! Green is a great D1 talent, but look at a Jefferson, Hillsborough game and he just blends in with about 15 other kids on the field. Just don't think you guys belong in a top 10 list in the county! Until you raid some other rostes or get them in the 8th grade like big Bob usually does.

Man, this is going to kill Plant's attempts to recruit them both (yes, they are recruiting both) to come and be the replacement for Murray when he's gone.
Posted by: | September 07, 2008 at 10:33 AM
Bob Weiner and his staff recruit kids? No way.
Posted by: Reality | September 07, 2008 at 03:15 PM
Plant already is loaded for next year. Keep those punks in green and white.
Posted by: Wrong | September 07, 2008 at 09:39 PM
Thats not what Weiner is saying to Green's father. Sounds like you are the kid who will be a backup when he transfers.
Posted by: | September 07, 2008 at 11:43 PM
Green aint going nowhere. The big push was after his freshman year. The dad wants him to be a QB. Weiner couldn't promise that. The kid is already locked up with Florida State as a WR, so he's just having fun at a small school and running around and zig zaggin against inferior athletes. It's a shame he's not challenged more.
Posted by: Jeff R Son | September 08, 2008 at 04:24 AM
A shame it looks like he is the inferior athelete for a while. Hopefully the inferior atheletes did not hurt him to bad.
Posted by: | September 08, 2008 at 07:48 AM
I heard they were telling them both to come and play WR until Murray is gone then be the QB. They were really surprised the big push didn't work.
Posted by: | September 08, 2008 at 08:30 AM
Big Bob will keep him there and get him some WR's to throw to his SR year. We do miss Big Bob over here. His offense is the same as ours. He was a very good Offensive coach for us but boy did we have some egos on that staff.

It appears that your "big" school didn't teach you how to put a proper English sentence together.

Jesuit, TCC, CCC, and SPC most years can beat many 4A and 5A teams and often do. In Pinellas the AD banned Public and privates playing during the regular season. Next year they will start playing again. CCC beat 5A Clearwater by 30+ in their sring game in three quarters.

That is a pretty bold statement none of the before mentioned can compete with the elite teams i.e. chambo's beat down of Jesuit in the preseason. I am not discounting the level of football these "small" schools play but due to enrollment they are not on the level of the elite sure they can slap around the walking wounded but all of them are not ready for the big dogs that is why they compete against schools with similar enrollments.

Pahookee would kick your butt and they are 2A. Last year they were ranked second in the state of Florida in all divisions. They also were ranked 6th in the country. This year so far they are ranked 6th in the sate.
Posted by: | September 09, 2008 at 03:02 PM
That's a pretty dumb statement from the other end Pahokkee would kick almost everyone's butt in Tampa bay area Armwood is the only except. They beat Plant in 7 on 7 I son't know if they could beat chambo or Hillsborough they rest would get a whoppin.
Posted by: | September 09, 2008 at 03:11 PM
Let Pahokee bang heads in 4a or 5a on a week to week basis and see if they are undefeated every year. You will get an exception every year, but TC my friend is not the exception.
Posted by: Jeff R Son | September 09, 2008 at 03:17 PM
You are wrong about Pahokee. They put 8 to 10 kids D1 every year. They were ranked 2nd in the state across all divisions and 6th in the country. They do beat 4a and 5a teams every year in Dade frigging county. They would beat Chambo or Hillsbrough by double digits every year. They beat Plant and Armwood most years. Thet would have killed them both last year. They probably have 8-10 kids running 4.5 or better. Go on line they play a great schedule. About Pahoke you could not be more wrong. But TC is no Pahooke. TC is overrated and will lose at least 4 games this year.

Keep talkin they stink they are overrated @ the end of the day they will still be playing in december while the majority of schools in the tampabay area will have put there pads up a long time ago and their kids have either started wrestling gone out for basketball or stated lifting wieghts get used to the smell it is gonna be around for a while
