Berkeley Prep holds steady in rankings

Despite taking a little time off after finishing second at the prestigious Berkeley Premier, the Berkeley Prep volleyball team is still getting love at the national level. For the second straight week, the Buccaneers (15-1) are 15th in the Prepvolleyball.com Century Club National Top 100 Rankings. A 13-day layoff ends Friday when play begins at the Tampa Bay Invitational, where Berkeley Prep is considered to be one of the teams to beat.

Plant is ranked 51st.

Following Thursday night's 25-13, 25-7, 25-12 win over previously unbeaten Brandon, the Panthers are 17-3. All three of their losses are to nationally ranked teams.
