Chamberlain’s Wilder gets first offer
Standout Chamberlain defensive end James Wilder, Jr., the son of Buccaneers legend James Wilder, has received his first scholarship offer. And it’s a good one.
Chiefs coach Billy Turner confirmed Tuesday that South Carolina had pulled the trigger.
Wilder (6-foot-2, 200 pounds), a sophomore, is a key contributor on what arguably is one of the state’s best defensive lines.
“He’s relentless,” Turner said of Wilder. “He just goes 100 miles per hour every time the ball is snapped. He’s a bionic man.”

Wilder's dad James was from Sikeston, MO and played rb for Mizzou and was referred to as the Sikeston train. He was a hell of a player. Would love to see his son in the black and gold. Make sense now War Helmet?
