Holy Names star hits milestone

Congrats are in order for Academy of the Holy Names senior Katie Davis. The standout guard, who will play at Penn next year, dropped in 33 points in a 59-43 season-opening win tonight over Northside Christian, giving her 1,009 points for her career. Davis was a Times first-team all-county pick as a junior after averaging 21.5 points and 8.3 rebounds per game.
