Locals help UT soccer reach D-II final four
The 2008 NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Soccer Championships are being played at the University of Tampa's Pepin Stadium Thursday-Sunday. The UT men, with a roster that has several local products, is in the field. The Spartans (18-3-1), who advanced to the final four with 3-2 double overtime win over South Atlantic Region champion Tusculum, face Cal State-Dominguez Hills (17-2-4) in one national semifinal. The other will match Northern Kentucky (16-2-4) against Dowling (17-3). Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for UT students and senior citizens.
