New offer for Jefferson's Gant

Jefferson offensive tackle Jarrod Gant has landed his fourth scholarship offer. The Citadel became the latest to tender one, joining Florida Atlantic, UAB and Elon. Additionally, Georgia Southern has told him they'll "probably offer" next week, Gant said. "The 6-foot-3, 285-pound senior, a three-year starter, has an official visit to Elon set up for Jan. 13, but as of now has no leader. "It's starting to pick up a lot so I'll take it as it comes," Gant said. What's he looking for in a school? "I want a good mix of education and football," Gant said.
