New Rivals.com Rivals100 released
On Wednesday, the latest Rivals100, a ranking of the country's top football recruits in the Class of 2009, was released. Here are the locals who made it:
- No. 37: Aaron Murray, Plant, QB: In only six games, he threw for 28 touchdown passes before getting injured in October. Only three players from Florida are rated higher.
- No. 61: Ryne Giddins, Armwood, DE: The CSTV National Defensive Player of the Year, Giddins led what arguably was the state's best defense.
- No. 83: Orson Charles, Plant, TE/WR: Has more than 1,000 receiving yards this fall and arguably is the area's offensive MVP.
