State's top-rated LB coming to town to face TC
When Tampa Catholic faces Miami Gulliver Prep on Friday, it will line up against a player who arguably is the state's premier linebacker -- four-star recruit Frankie Telfort. Rivals.com rates Telfort as the 69th best senior in the country (he's fourth among outside linebacker) and ninth best senior in Florida. Although Telfort is only listed at 5-foot-11, 197 pounds, he is said to pack quite a punch. Earlier today, he announced that his two finalists are Florida and Southern California. Gulliver Prep has produced its share of stars in the past. In fact, the late Sean Taylor went there before landing at the University of Miami.
