Lance no longer Pinellas Park football coach
Matt Lance is out as Pinellas Park's football coach.
The former Countryside assistant was 3-27 in three seasons, including 0-10 this season when the Patriots struggled to field a team with any kind of depth.
Lance declined comment, requesting the Times call the principal.
The principal, John Johnston, declined comment until he could talk to Lance.
Asked about what, Johnston declined comment until he could talk to Lance.
Asked if Lance was still the head coach, Johnston declined comment until he could talk to Lance.
Asked if that meant that Lance wasn't fired yet and that's what the conversation was going to be about, Johnston declined comment until he could talk to Lance.
Even though Lance, according to well, just about everyone not named John Johnston, was fired last week.
Sigh.
But it's fact: Pinellas Park is looking for a new football coach that can maybe turn around a program that is 5-45 since 2003.
