Baldelli's back ....

CF Rocco Baldelli was back in the Devil Rays lineup on Wednesday, shaking off the discomfort from the bruised right bicep that forced him from Tuesday's game. Baldelli was hit by a pitch in the sixth inning Tuesday and appeared to be be seriously hurt when he left the game, but it turned out to be only a bruise.

3B B.J. Upton and SS Ben Zobrist, who made their season debuts on Tuesday, also were in the lineup again for the Rays.

The team has not made any decisions yet regarding Triple-A Durham prospect Elijah Dukes, who was suspended indefinitely on Tuesday.

Manager Joe Maddon said ace LHP Scott Kazmir, who has been on the disabled list with shoulder discomfort, will definitely pitch when he is eligible to return on Aug. 8 at Seattle.

Ben Zobrist might be a nice guy and a hard worker, but c'mon at 25 he is no kid. He has average tools, average range, average arm, etc. he is a switch
hitting version of Nick Green.
A nice utility player if he can hit.
So who plays shortstop? Who is the shortstop of the future?
