Baldelli update - good and bad

The good news on CF Rocco Baldelli Thursday was that an MRi of his re-injured left hamstring didn't show any tears or severe problems, the Rays said.
But the bad news is that the MRI is "very similar" to his previous injuries.
The team did not disclose any kind of time frame, and said it will be "cautious" with Baldelli to try to alleviate future occurrences. Given that he has out about 6 weeks with this injury, and they are going to be more cautious, it seems like he could be out another 6-8 weeks, which would put his return sometime in August.

There was no apparent news Thursday evening on troubled OF Elijah Dukes, though it still seems the Rays are close to doing something with him, either trade or demotion or release. Given the amount of distractions he has caused it will be interesting to see if he will be in uniform for Friday night's game against the Dodgers.
