Jackson aims for win No. 1

Rays RHP Edwin Jackson will make his 14th start today, and hopes to win his first game of the season.

DH Jonny Gomes continues his climb up the order and will hit from the sixth spot in the lineup, and Dustan Mohr will make his first start of the season in RF.

Here's the full lineup:
Iwamura, 3B
Harris, SS
Crawford, LF
Wigginton, 1B
Young, CF
Gomes, DH
Mohr, RF
Navarro, C
WIlson, 2B

Hey Agatha....you do not get rid of guys in their low 20's who throw 96 MPH. It not his fault the Dodgers rushed him to the big leagues at age 19 and thus used up all of his option years. Jackson has pitched well enough to win his last 2 starts. Jackson has the potential to be a great pitcher at the big league level. The problem is he is having to work on things that most players his age get to work on in the minor leagues.

The Rays need to get rid of this batting practice pitcher. What a disgrace!
