The Yankees are a little late arriving to Tropicana Field the day after clinching a playoff spot, but the Rays are here and ready to go. 2B Brendan Harris remains out, though hopeful of playing this weekend. Principal owner Stuart Sternberg will be on hand tonight for the final home game.

I've been wondering why Brendan Harris hasn't been in the lineup. Is it only because of Velandia, or some other reason? I live in Brendan's hometown, so it's been great following his season and disappointing to see him out of the lineup.

Think George S. has been at Tropicana more often this season than Stu.
