Rays are champs!

Well, the Class A Columbus Catfish are anyway, beating West Virginia (Brewers) 6-0 on Thursday to sweep the South Atlantic League Championship series. For details, check out milb.com

Hey, the winning attitude has to start somewhere. With Montgomery's championship last season, Columbus' this season, and the ones we are hopefully about to win in Montgomery and Durham the minor league players are coming up through the system with an expectation that they will win games. I have to belief that's going to make for brighter days in the future for the Rays.

I'm sorry to say it Tony, but there are no brighter days in the future of this franchise. We will never finish above third place in the division and therefore will never make the playoffs. We suck!

sorry i didnt mean to post that a hundred times i clicked back and it posted it

Ashamed Ray, everyone who gets paid to know what's going on in professional baseball disagrees with you.

dj you're stupid. No one thinks the rays have a bright future coming anytime soon. Who is this "everyone" anyway? Maybe you can explain how the stink-rays can ever finish above third in the division they're in. Anyone who plans to play for tb can pencil in an October 4 golf game for the next 10+ years. If you can't see that, you're either delusional or lying to yourself.
