As we move to later action ...
After waiting through the rest of the first round and 16 free-agent compensation picks (including two of their own doing for the signings of Troy Percival and Trever Miller) the Rays got to make another pick:
Second round, 47th overall
LHP Kyle Lobstein, from Coconino High School in Arizona. Lobstein is a 6-3, 200-pounder who is athletic enough to also play basketball.
Third round, 78th overall
C Jacob Jefferies, from University of California-Davis. Made a late rise into draft consideration based on a strong junior season according to mlb.com but doesn't show much power and his arm is "fringy."
Fourth round, 113th overall
CF Christopher Morrison, from Tigard High in Oregon.
Fifth round, 143rd overall
1B Michael Sheridan, from William & Mary College
Sixth round, 173rd overall
RHP Shane Dyer, from South Mountain CC in Colorado.
And that's it for tonight. The pace will be much quicker on Friday as they whip through rounds seven to 50.

I noticed that also drafted Tim's older brother Jeremy from GA Southern
