Navarro back in lineup; so is Bartlett
The Rays will get two regulars back in the lineup today for a matinee against the Orioles, as C Dioner Navarro is starting after missing three games with sore hamstrings.
SS Jason Bartlett, who got the day off Friday, is back in the field. Ben Zobrist, coming off his first career grand slam, will get the start in left.
RAYS
Iwamura, 2b
Upton, Cf
Pena, 1b
Baldelli, dh
Aybar, 3b
Zobrist, lf
Navarro, c
Ruggiano, rf
Bartlett, ss

The Rays game was much more exciting than the Phillies and Cubs (top of 9th, 2-out homer to tie followed by a walkoff - not to mention all the lead changes, etc. But, it takes to to get respect and the Rays just need to keep choppin' wood. Nice to see 35k there tonight, too. Maybe the media will pipe down on this attendance thing. Go Rays!

The MLB blackout restrictions are crap. I had the same issue when I lived in Jacksonville, before I moved to Tampa.
Rays problem is lack of season tickets, relative to attendance, and I am sure their season ticket base will go up in '09.

JeffC, based on attendance I think a lot of people in the Bay area have a problem grasping what is going on with the Rays.
That said, I agree with you, but for different reasons. Since moving to TX I've subscribed to MLB's online game service so I can watch my Rays, and Fox has royally screwed me this week.
Game isn't on in my market, but because it started between 1 and 7, it's blacked out online.

Sonnanstine is all about the ump.............if the ump has a tight zone, he's in big trouble, if it's a liberal zone.....he's a stud.

Has anyone else noticed that Sonnanstine seems to have a problem pitching with a lead? Based on my unscientific observations, he seems to often give up runs in the inning right after the offense ties the game or takes the lead.

I was excited about the Rays being on a "national" FOX broadcast today. However, I checked the FOX listings, and the game is being shown in only 15 out of 205 TV markets. That's 7.3% of available markets.
What a joke. FOX apparently just does not get what's going on down here, and based on comments on the FOX.com site, lots of other fans want to see the Rays.
