It was nice of the times to run a story in the WS preview section that talked about that only the best umpires get to do the games of the WS. Too bad they let imposters ump the game.
I'm not talking judgement calls here, I'm talking blatant non-calls of the rules. The most blaring of all, the non-Balk!
One play doesn't make a game, however. We have to hit, and when we do hit, we have to hit it where they ain't!

Thoughts:
1. I still hate Buck and McCarver.
2. BJ's had a great postseason, so no disrespect, but...someone needs to teach this kid situational hitting.
3. *girl moment* CC is so cute. He seems to get so shy in front of cameras. *end girl moment*
4. Good to see CrazyTorretsBalfour back.
5, What's with all the romance novel names in sports lately? Cole Hamels, Chase Daniels, Colt Brennan...
6. It WAS a balk. *grumble*
7. Game 2 a must win? Probably. Go Shields.
