Security tight for Rays game | Main | David Archuleta likes singing in the Trop »

Police send 7 fans out of Trop

Police have sent seven fans packing out of the Trop tonight, and it's only the end of the 5th inning.

Chris Michalicka, 31 of St. Petersburg, was No. 6. He was "being too loud at a baseball game" he said. Police said it was a fairly even mix of Rays and Red Sox fan. One was arrested for violating a trespass warning from another game.

Michalicka said a Red Sox fan came up to him bragging about his team being the best and Michalicka started yelling at him. That's when police intervened.

He was wearing a custom Rays jersey and sitting in a chair beside a police desk in the holding area beside Gate 4, waiting to hear what police do with him about 10 p.m. Turns out he received a trespass warning for today and tomorrow. If he returns to the Trop, he'll be arrested, police warned.

"I don't know what crime I committed," he said. "Nothing happened." He said as far as he knows, the Red Sox fan is still enjoying the game.

As police led him outside Gate 4, he shouted "Go Rays! Go Rays!"
