Rays getting ready for Game 4

The Rays are getting ready for Game 4 of the Division Series and their second chance to clinch a spot in the ALCS. Weather shouldn't be an issue, as the skies are fine and temperatures are forecast in the mid 60s.

The lineup looks as expected against Sox right-hander Gavin Floyd:

  • Iwamura, 2B
  • Upton, CF
  • Pena, 1B
  • Longoria, 3B
  • Crawford, LF
  • Floyd, DH
  • Navarro, C
  • Gross, RF
  • Bartlett, SS
  • Sonnanstine, P

Go Rays...finish the Sox tonight. I like our chances with the lineup and Sonny on the hill. We should score at least 5 or 6 which will be enough.

Floyd is due for a big game at the plate.

Go Rays...

Umm, Mike, I know what you're getting at, but typically the team that wins doesn't need excuses . . .

That said, this White Sox lineup is loaded with Vets who have shown they can play with their backs to the wall. Sonny needs to keep the ball down, keep it inside the park, and let his defense do the rest.

These aren't the Bucs and they're not swinging metal bats either; the weather has nothing to do with it.

Mike

What, al, is it 30 below in a blizzard? When will you Chicago bums stop harping on the weather as your only excuse for beating a tampa team. Bears fans having been using that one for years. I think the weather is like 60 and sunny, so you might want to come into a Ray forum with more than the weather. If the Rays were to lose(not happening) it will be because the White Sox played better than the Rays.

hey ray fans you know there's that old saying "don't count your chickens before they're hatched", your playing in chicago and the weather is not like st. petersburg, you could be in for a rude awakening!

Like Phil Collins said..."TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT, OH, OH"! Let's go Rays, Let's go Rays, Let's go...you know!!!!!
