Rays working out
The day before the opening of the playoffs is always an interesting day, as both teams work out and hold the formal press conferences you see on ESPN.
The Rays will take the field around 1 today, and when they are done manager Joe Maddon will be in the interview room at 3 p.m., followed by Game 1 starter James Shields and team MVP SS Jason Bartlett.
The White Sox, who won their trip to St. Petersburg with Tuesday's 1-0 win over Minnesota, will arrive later and work out around 6 p.m.
