St. Pete flies Rays' flag

ST. PETERSBURG- Mayor Rick Baker will raise a Tampa Bay Rays' flag at City Hall Friday at 5 p.m. in celebration of the team.

The city is also giving fans a chance to show their support for the Rays by autographing a banner at four locations throughout downtown tomorrow before the game. To participate, go to the Pier, the baseball shuttle stop at Central Avenue and Second Ave N., Ferg's or  look for city employees with banners outside of the stadium tomorrow.

The banners will be presented to team owners and Joe Maddon.

Jimbo

One thing at a time, 9:03. Now that the city, state, and country know we even have a team here, another season like this (or even close to this) and talks should move along pretty nicely ;-)

how about approving a new stadium

Another Great Day in St. Petersburg and for entire Bay Area.
