Free pizza deal lives ...
John Keiley, who offered free pizza at his suburban Denver shop if the Rays won the World Series, has come up with a decent consolation prize.
With the Rays playing at the Rockies on June 16-18, Keiley e-mailed to say he’ll make good on his offer — to Rays fans — at Johnny’s New York Pizza & Pasta Shop in Lakewood, Colo., about 15 minutes from Coors Field:
“Let your readers know that … all Rays fans (who) show up at the pizza shop with a Rays hat or jersey … they can eat free on Wednesday the 17th — anything they want.”

Round trip flight to COL $300
Tickets $ 100
Hot Dog $6.00
Beer $ 8.00
Doing all of this, just to get a free pizza = priceless.....That makes sense.

I won't be there but I think it is a wonderful gesture. Thanks Johnny! You are one of the best.

Much better pizza around then Johnnys NY Pizza. There all around Atlanta and their food sucks! The Customer service is also lousy.

I am a Rays fanatic living in the Denver area, and I know a few others, and you'd better believe this is getting printed right now and redeemed. I'm going all out. Lots of toppings, the works.. Who else is with me?

Ohh how long before someone shows up here bleating that "Rays fans (who) show up at the pizza shop with a Rays hat or jersey" don't deserve pizza.
