Hot dog! Crowbar's cookin' tonight
I hope that they get some of the Japanese contenders at this one. Takeru Kobayashi can really wolf them down.
Other than the obvious attraction of watching people shove themselves full of frankfurters this seems like it should be a pretty decent event at the Crowbar tonight (7/3). There are a bunch of cool local bands (five in total) that are going to play through the night. Apparently. there will also be a wrestling ring set up somewhere in the bar. Your guess is as good as mine for what it's for, but my mind immediately goes NC-17. Plus, there'll be a keg of PBR that's free between 7 and 9 p.m. I can't think of a better way to kick off Independence Day than hot dogs, cheap beer and wrestling. It's just downright American.
Here are the stats for the event: The Hot Dog Show: Part 2 is taking place at the Crowbar 1812 N 17th St. in Ybor City tonight, beginning at 5. It costs $7 to get in and there will be a cookout on the patio. You might want to bring a stash of Pepto-Bismol with you, just to be on the safe side.
