Downtown St. Petersburg is bracing itself for what is sure to be one of the biggest parties it has ever seen. An epic confluence of First Friday celebrations, postseason baseball and Florida's own Against Me! rocking Jannus Landing, tonight will surely be one to remember.

With three distinct party species on the prowl tonight — primped and preened First Friday veterans, jersey-sporting baseball fans and boisterous young hipsters respectively — be prepared to mix and mingle beyond your usual comfort zone.

But getting to the fun could present a problem. Our advice: Find a place to park and leave the car. A walk from St. Pete's baseball epicenter, Ferg's, to downtown is only about 15 minutes. Surely less time than you would spend searching for a spot. Better yet, call a cab to drop you off. The fare will cost much less than having your car towed — or a potential DUI.
