So Eric Dungy, the son of the NFL coach, has gotten a coveted seat at South Tampa's Plant High School using special assignment. So the high-profile case has brought a lot of attention to the process.
So what about other schools?

Been going on for the favored few for years. The Mayor of Tampa, Pam Iorio had her kids on special assignment in South Tampa schools for years even though she lived in Carrollwood.......I guess Dale Mabry traffic must qualify as a "super hardship"
