Granted, Pinellas teachers who frequent a blog site called Tuff-Teach don't count school superintendent Clayton Wilcox (left) among their favorite people. But it appears that someone who posts to the site may be about to turn up the heat by purchasing the Web domain name www.fireclaytonwilcox.com through GoDaddy.com.
It's not live yet, so don't go to the site looking for some superintendent bashing. It's not even clear, really, what (if anything) will happen next - that would depend on the intent of the still anonymous person who purchased the name. (Anyone want to own up?)
Several Tuff-Teach bloggers are ready and waiting for the site to go live, having posted comments such as, "How soon can we log in?" and "I'm ready to vote Wilcox off the island." If they get impatient, they have other options, of course. The .org, .net, .info and .biz versions of the domain name are still available, according to Register.com, for just $35 each.
