Crist names new SPC trustee

Governor Charlie Crist today appointed Terrence E. Brett, 51, of St. Petersburg, owner of Brett Funeral Home, to the St. Petersburg College board of trustees.

The Senate must confirm the appointment. He would succeed Cecil Keene, and serve through  May 31, 2009.
