Gov. Charlie Crist has just appointed former Hillsborough Superintendent Earl Lennard to the Hillsborough Supervisor of Elections seat vacated by Phyllis Busansky, who died last month. Said Crist in a statement: “Earl understands the importance of elections in our democracy and has a fundamental sense of fairness. Dr. Lennard has served the Hillsborough County community well, both as superintendent and as a community leader, and I am confident he will once again serve the people of Hillsborough County well.”

Earl Lennard is very corrupt. Horrible choice for elections supervisor. Part of the "good ole boys' network. Treated administrators horribly in Hillsborough as superintendant, as well as teachers.

Finally, I agree with Termie.

Let's hope he isn't nearly as corrupt as Jeb's appointed Buddy Johnson.

what a horrible pick.
Lennard was barely a capable Sup't.
The guy knows NOTHING about elections.
Crist is a total POS. Hopefully, Jeb, Marco and Meek will send him back to his one bedroom condo in downtown St. Pete PERMANENTLY!
